Shelton C. “Mike” Williams was the founding partner of Williams Law Firm. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1963 and then followed in his father’s footsteps at the University of Montana School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Montana Law Review. He graduated first in his class in 1966. Mike worked as a law clerk to Chief Judge Walter Pope at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He taught courses in insurance law and remedies as an adjunct professor at UM Law School. He tried well over 100 civil jury trials and he served on many boards of directors and was selected to several honorary societies, including the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
