Alex grew up in eastern Montana. Alex attended Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin, where he played baseball for four years. He received his B.S. in Business Administration in 2011 and received his J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law, graduating with honors, in 2014. While in law school, Alex interned for the Office of the Federal Defender and clerked for Williams Law Firm.
Alex has experience handling civil litigation in state and federal courts, including to jury verdict and on appeal. His practice primarily focuses on coverage and bad faith litigation, personal injury matters, construction litigation, and a variety of commercial litigation. Alex’s coverage experience includes areas such as CGL insurance, homeowners insurance, motor vehicle coverage and first-party claims, stacking litigation, disability insurance, advance payment litigation, and ERISA. In addition to his coverage work, Alex has defended bad faith and Unfair Trade Practices Act claims. Alex has also represented insureds in actions against insurance companies.
