CATHY J. GOODWIN

Cathy J. Goodwin joined the firm in March of 2006. Cathy earned her B.A. in communications from Florida Atlantic University in 1980. She received her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 1989. She has been practicing law since 1989 with a specialty in multistate complex litigation with extensive experience in corporate and insurance defense.

Cathy is currently admitted to the State Bars of Montana, Florida and Kentucky, as well as the U.S. District Court of Montana; U.S. District Court for the Central District of Kentucky and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.

Cathy also has widespread experience in medical device litigation; construction litigation; medical, dental, legal and pharmaceutical malpractice; personal injury, asbestos, commercial litigation and social security cases. In her spare time, Cathy enjoys hiking, skiing, scuba diving, cycling, photography, reading and entertaining her three yellow Labrador retrievers.
